Hi EPS = earning attributed to common shareholder / average no. of common shares issued for the year earning attributed to common shareholder = (net profit - preferred share dividend) Average no. of share issued usually can be found in the financial report under changes of equity statement louiskst

Thanks for your very detailed explanation. I think I will not go for the bond. Like what you said, there are many companies distribute more than 5% dividend (eg. CES, Suntec REIT, Metro, Starhub...)

Yes. Do or do not, there is no try. If we want to change our life, then really go for it. If we commit 100% to our goal, I believe the success is just somewhere in the future.
