Hi Dennis, thanks for sharing your knowledge with all of us. When I attended your workshop, I really like your idea of investing. It fits into my lifestyle. I tend to do quite a bit of OT in my work + studying part time. It is not easy to find time to trade. I actually attended 2 trading courses, bu...

Hi,

I have some unit trust holdings which are still in red with about 10% loss currently. Am pondering whether I should realise the loss now and take it out to buy some of the penny counters instead.

Would like to heard other people's views on this. Thanks!

Thanks Jimmykkl for the article, it clearly reminds me once again to have patience (something youngsters tend to lack). I was just contemplating earlier this morning whether to lock in my gains from some of my purchases made during corrections this year. Now, I'm clearly going to sit on my gains on ...

Screening for stocks

Hi, I have a rather silly question. How do I get started on screening for undervalued counters, since there are hundreds of counters listed on the sgx? As a beginner, I do read up on recommendation by analyst, but the downside is that by the time the counters get analysts' coverage, the value would ...

Hi all,

Based on the uob website, seems like we can only invest in gold certificates. And the plus point for that is the fees for gold certs are waived.

Hi Dennis,

thanks for highlighting the fact of 0.5% charges is lesser than that of fund management fees. I think a lot of us are not conscious of these fund expenses, which tend not to be transparent if we do not read the documentation properly.
