Re: Is there need to change medical/hospitalization plan

Hi Albert,

Thanks for clarifying. Had also contacted CPF Borad confirming the same. Our Basic MediShield coverage with CPF Board will remain as it is. It will not be affected by the special terms imposed on our upgrade plan even if we switch the cover to upgrade with an insurer.

Re: Is there need to change medical/hospitalization plan

To add on. If you choose to upgrade your Shield plan with the same insurer who insures you your Basic MediShield which most of us have. Then any special terms/exclusions imposed should rightfully affect only the upgraded portion from the Basic MedShield plan to the higher Shield plan if you choose t...

Re: Is there need to change medical/hospitalization plan

For anyone who wants to consider upgrading their plan, it is good to check where their basic medishield coverage is with. Hi jfoo2,

Believe that since your cholestrol has returned back to normal it should not be of a issue but this is an area which should be addressed by the company at the points of claims. Personally I find it is better to leave it at that.

Hi jfoo2,

If the policy has been incepted two years ago, there is no need to inform them since your application has been underwritten back then.

Hi Dennis,
Can we find out the landbanking project so far you have invested in Canada? Noted inflationary pressure, possible QEs and possible stock market crash 2012. It will be good to diversify using landbanking. Though there will be of course foreign exchange rate risk in the long run.

Noted Landbanking affects HDB owners。 HDB flat owners are not allowed to concurrently own an HDB flat and private property - local or overseas - within the minimum occupation period (MOP) applies to them too. This means that if a landbanking investor who has a share of residential land buys an HDB r...
