I'm aware of the financing costs, but the great thing about their platform is that you can choose not to make use of the leverage, and hence avoid paying the associated interest / financing costs :D .

(Not sure whether IG Markets offer the same thing though, it would be great if they do too)

CFD

I was talking to a CMC sales rep the other day, and he assured me that I will get dividends if I am long stock CFDs. Is this really true?

(Reason why I'm considering CFDs are coz of the low commission charges and flexibility to both long and short the market.)
