Very true Dennis - I am seeing the power of these two. Simple, yet very very powerful.

My wife and I thought of getting another property before I attended last Sat course. After applying these, it was a unanimous 2 second decision :) . My wife is seeing this wisdom as well.

To come to think of it, all my 3 years in NUS BBA years ago- never once I was taught about this :(

I look forward to this Sat & Sun "stock seminar".

I am new in this forum and not sure if this is the right place to post.

I signed up for your course for 3 main reasons.
1. Firstly I have made good return from other investments and like to invest more in stock which I believe I could learn alot from you.

2. The vision you shared in your talk "Our Goal is to help 1 million people reach S$1M - indeed this could be a very power way to solve poverty.
(you give me the gut to share my own vision: I actually had a goal to build 12 schools in China; not in the cities but the poorest region.
You have moved my heart.

3. Third reason is both you and I shared many things in common and I can understand what you share. When you shared I know you are not boasting. When you teach I sense you want the best for others.
For me I came from a poor family and my parents cannot afford to send me to the university. We are wealthy today because we save, invest wisely and delay gratifications. My friends called me the most unorthodox government scholar. I resigned from the stable government job.......

I want to thank you for the value your provided last weekend. I have learnt a great deal. I am committed to donate 10K for every 1M I am going to make.

Thank you once again.

Hi TieGe,

it's words from seminar graduates like yourself that give me the "fuel" to carry on.

That made it clear to me that all the weekends I sacrificed to be away from my family, especially my wife and 2 young children are worth it. All these weekends will be gone and I can never reclaim with my family. But I know that the sacrifices my family made is made up by the good this sacrifice contribute to the society.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I decided to start conducting seminars when I saw photo of an elderly woman crying in Straits Times in year 2009...

How I wish I could have reached out to this lady and teach her so that she can avoid losing her entire retirement savings...

I hope my facebook friends can help me spread the knowledge I'm sharing on my facebook page. Let's try to help SAVE people from losing their fortunes in the Next Global Financial Crisis.

One day, I was having coffee with one of my "sifus" at a hawker centre...with tears in his eyes, my sifu said it's so sad to see elderly Singaporeans working as cleaners clearing the tables...

Without him knowing, I promised myself that I will make sure in 20 years' time, NO Singaporeans need to be cleaners when they are old, becos I will teach them how to reach Financial Freedom before age 60...

I want to teach 1,000,000 people to reach S$1,000,000 at least...
Cheers!

Hi patng8,

thank you, thank you, thank you.

Alone, I can do very little, together, each of the 2,100 graduates (current estimated number), each doing a little, we can reach out to more people, and help more people. I need each and every Seminar Graduate to help in this "Movement".

Cheers!

But with you as the right mentor and all the selfless forumers, perhaps I should call them as my investment family, I believe I have what it takes to guide me to my goal. In turn, one day I hope I can provide the guidance to new people joining this fraternity.

Hope there will be more graduates to inform us (esp newbies like me), their achievements and successes. That will be a good motivation to all.
Hi all,
yes, my sharing and update of my financial situation is I hope that this will inspire and encourage others, I'm so glad that you feel inspired.

Back in 1998, after I lost half of my wealth in the Asian Financial Crisis, I was back to S$50,000...and if you were to ask me back then in 1998, would I have S$2.8 million by age 42 (or 13 years later)...frankly, at that time I would think it is quite an unreachable goal.

However, by year 2002, together with regular savings of about 20% of my income and growing my money through investing, I reached S$200,000...and that gave me the encouragement that I seem to be on the Right track...by year 2006, I reached about S$500,000, so that time I set a goal of reaching S$1 million in 5 years...but one of my "sifu" shared with me the Magic of Thinking Big and I re-set the goal to achieving my first million dollars in 3 years instead...

Alas, it didn't take me 3 years, but by year 2008, 2 years later, I reached my first million dollars...so I again re-set another goal to reach S$2 million in 3 years, but alas, again, it only took me 1 years and 10 months, to reach my goal by end Oct 2008...

In the last few years, every year I set the simple goal of doubling my income in the next year, (I achieved the goal in year 2008 and year 2009 but have "failed" in year 2010, "only" increased my income by 60%...

For me, my income is in direct relation to the Value Add I provide and the Number of People I serve...so I know very well that when I double my income, I've also at LEAST double my Contribution (Value Add) to the Society...

I used to think that if I want to do good for society, want to make a difference, that I cannot charge money or must do things for FREE. That's why I've conducted countless of FREE Public Talks for organisations such as MAS, CPF, Universities, Community Clubs and Libraries et. In the last few years, after learning from my multi-millionaire "sifus", and learning from Buckminster Fuller, I finally realised that there is NO conflict between doing good and making money.

Becos Buckminster Fuller taught that our income and wealth is in direction proportion and relation to the number of people we serve and the Value Add we provide,
so that I know that I just need to FOCUS and AIM to INCREASE the number of people I serve and the Value Add I provide, and automatically, my income and wealth goes up...we don't need to chase after money...this is the Precession Effect that I learned from Buckminster Fuller.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckminster_Fuller

http://www.bfi.org/

Buckminster Fuller shared that EVERYONE can be a Billionaire, that this is a World of Abundance, that Wealth can only increase, and not decrease, and I think the greatest tribute I can pay to this Great Sifu (Master and Teacher), is for me to Live his Principles and Philosophy, this is why I want to set up the S$100 million Charitable Foundation, which is aimed to Empower the Poor with knowledge and Financing, and to Elevate the Poor from Poverty...

I firmly believe that this GOAL can be achieved with ALL seminar graduates (plan to have 10,000 seminar graduates in 5 years, now we already have over 2,100 graduates), each doing a small part, in educating, influencing the people around you.

You have NOT joined a Seminar, you have joined a Movement, a Revolution, Revolution of Wealth.
Cheers!

I definitely shall be the next Millionaire after attending your seminar and learning the mechanics of investing. Not there yet but slowly but surely. " it does not matter how long you take, as long you do not stop" by Confucius.

Sharing an email I wrote to a seminar graduate:

If today you're already a millionaire and financially free like me, what will you be doing?

In the book entitled "Notes from a Friend" (a very think book written by Anthony Robbins), this is a question that was asked...

Whatever the answer is, the answer might actually be what you really want to do. This is what your Passion really lies.

Few people have asked and answered this question, which is Sad.

I've seen clients who reached Financial Freedom by age 60, but they are NOT really happy becos there is no sense of direction or purpose in their lives. They merely managed to retire comfortably, that's all.

Money can help you buy luxury items, such as a Patek Philippe Watch, BMW/Mercedes, but it really cannot buy Happiness and Fulfillment. Trust me on this, since I've seen many clients who have money but do NOT feel really happy or fulfilled.

For me, when I asked myself this question in 1998, my answer is I will teach others how to reach Financial Freedom after I did it myself.

This is why I've been conducting seminars weekly since May 2009. If your answer is similar, actually you should think about how can you work with Wealth Directions to do this.

In 2 years' time, our plan will be to reach out of Singapore, to the region, including China.

Becos as Buckminster Fuller said, we should work for the entire humanity, and not just our own country (in my case, Singapore).

(I"m reading Critical Path right now), and many of Bucky's concepts and principles resonate with me.
I also think I'm just a function in the Universe, that each person is born in this world to serve the world, born with a Purpose to live.

And I'm glad I've found my purpose since 1998, which have led and guided me in the 13 year journey from year 1998 till the current moment.

We want to help 1,000,000 people to achieve Financial Freedom, and I really hope that you can be actively involved (eg. as a Trainer).

Think through again and reply.

If we work hard, we need to ask ourselves, is what we are working hard on really what we want to do or achieve in the long run? If not, then perhaps it's time to re-look, and possibly to re-start our journey, instead of just going down the path we have walked so far.

In 1998, after I discovered the answer to the question, I decided to pursue my Passion. I started planning to resign from the bank (which it took me 2 years to save enough money to quit the bank in year 2000)...

And in year 2000, I re-started on my journey, starting from ZERO, as a Financial Planner, 7 years after graduating from university.

8 years later, the decision I made helped me reached Financial Freedom in year 2008. Even though for the first 7 years of the journey from year 2000 to year 2007, I didn't earn much, especially duringthe initial first 3 years, I suffered a drop in income of over 50%, compared to my salary in the bank.

However, throughout the journey, the Happiness and Fulfillment that I enjoy and feel is what money cannot buy and a feeling I cannot use words to describe, it is simply Priceless.

And becos I reached Financial Freedom in year 2008, I could then Choose to decide what I want to do for the next phase of my life, I decided to start teaching others how to reach Financial Freedom, (something I set out to do since 1998), and this is why I relaunched www.MasterYourFinance.com in Apr 2009; wrote and launched my first book in May 2009; started conducting seminars from 23 May 2009; set up Wealth Directions with co-founder Yew Kin in Jun 2010 to market my seminars; launched my 2nd book in Dec 2010;

In the last 2 years since I started conducting seminars, there are so many memorable and very happy occasions, especially when seminar graduates shared with me how my seminar helped them decide to change their career; change their spending habits; helped them have the courage to start investing again as they had lost money in investing before; how parents have shared/taught their children what was shared in the seminars and how their children have changed thereafter; how some of my seminar graduates made as much as a few hundred thousand dollars from applying what they learned in my seminar; how they have saved thousands (as much as over S$11,000 in insurance premiums per year) after my seminar....

Each time when seminar graduates shared with me such news, it reinforced to me that whatever I'm doing, especially sacrificing 2 of my weekday nights and almost all of my weekends conducting seminars is worthwhile...that it makes a difference to many others..as Buckminster fuller shared that he stopped working for himself and his family but only work for the benefit of all humanity at age 27. After I achieved Financial Freedom in year 2008, I also make this same decision.

If you wonder why I spend so much time daily in this forum; in facebook; in contributing to various media, including newspapers, Radio, TV etc...is becos
I am dedicating the rest of my life to educate, to help as many people as possible, reach Financial Freedom.

I really cannot do this on my own. I really hope some of my seminar graduates, can also join us (ON a Full Time Basis) for this Same Cause.

You have NOT joined a Seminar, you have joined a Movement, a Revolution of Wealth.

There are many ways to make money and many routes to Financial Freedom. Why NOT choose to help in teaching/guiding others how to Reach Financial Freedom?

The more successful you are in helping to spread Financial Education, the more people you help, and you make a very BIG difference to their lives. I mean, you yourself probably can feel the difference my seminars made to your life yourself. So the more people you help (serve), the more money you make, the sooner you reach Financial Freedom, and you also help others to speed up on their path to Financial Freedom.

Our aim is to help as many people as possible (we set 1 million people) to achieve one million dollars at least...the ONLY question is:

Do you want to get involved full-time to help us?

Hi Dennis,

I'm sure many of us here would be more than happy to help you out in your 'mission'.. However I believe that if we have not reached financial freedom ourselves.. How can we teach others? I think someone has posted this on your fb..

I think u also understand the difficulty of convincing others to follow one's teaching if the teachers are not millionaire themselves and not financially free.. Actually I really 'feel' your enthusiasm in your postings, but I think many fellow grads share the same concern..

Hi Stradlinz,
well, they'll be Trainers with Wealth Directions, under the guidance of Dennis Ng, teaching what I teach. So the credibility and the methods are from me, someone who have already done what I want to teach others.

I'm sure a number of seminar graduates would reach S$1 million and Financial Freedom in the next few years as well.

And at first, the Trainers would only be conducting short seminars of 2 to 3 hours, which I myself have conducted before I reached Financial Freedom myself. It is a process, one cannot overnight reach Financial Freedom and accumulate the knowledge/experience that I took 13 years to acquire. But the sooner one start, the sooner one can Help others.

I didn't wait until year 2008 before I conduct seminars. I started conducting talks in year 2001. By year 2008, I already conducted seminars for over 20,000 people, most of which are FREE seminars/workshops.
Cheers!

Haha I am the one who ask Dennis sifu this question.....

Think sifu has clearly explain to us on his post above and has enlighten me. We can start off by repeating what he has taught us base on his personal experience

Hi Dennis,

Managed to convince one of my friend and even arrange for the booking for your workshop yesterday. He mention that his wife want to attend too, so I give my seat so that both of them can attend together .
Unfortunately, he told me that he didn't sign out for your seminar because the content is quite similar to others seminar when I sms him this morning.
Guess , I can only try my best to persuade them but ultimately they need to take the action.
Anyway, it is a good start for me because finally managed to convinced someone to attend the workshop.

Regards,
KS.
