Dear Hl,

from my personal experience, there's no evidence to show whether it's better to buy before of after XD (excluding dividend).

The key before you invest is actually:

1. which stock to buy
2. when to buy

To me the "when to buy" a possible way is to look at the charts (technical analysis) of the stock. I don't really bother whether the stock is CD (cum dividend) or XD (excluding dividend).

Anybody else have other things to share?
