Did You Notice Something NOT Right in Sub-prime Crisis?

Post by Dennis Ng »

Did anyone notice something that DOES NOT seem right?

Ok, let me give you a chance to think, do you notice anything that does not seem right in the recent sub-prime Crisis?

Can't think of anything?

One last chance.

Still can't think of anything?

Ok lah, this is something I OBSERVED.

Warren Buffett has NOT YET invested in any of these TROUBLED U.S. Financial Institutions!

Let me ask you a simple question.

Do you HONESTLY think that before U.S. Banks have to "lose face" to ASK Arabs and Asians for MONEY, would they have APPROACHED Warren Buffett first?

I guess the simple answer is it is LOGICAL that these U.S. banks have approached Warren Buffett.

Guess what was Warren Buffett's answer?

"I'm NOT interested".

Why? Why is Warren Buffett so "STUPID" to give up a RARE ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY to invest in TROUBLED U.S. Banks at a bargain?

Well, please remember that Warren Buffett DID invest into troubled U.S. Banks BEFORE. Yes, many years ago he invested into Salomen Brothers and even STOOD IN as CHAIRMAN for Salomen Brothers to help them turnaround their business.

So, why is Warren Buffett NOT BITING this round?

Why?

This is a QUESTION you should be asking yourself.

So, NOW let me ask you, do you HONESTlY think that the WORST is behind us?

Warren Buffett does NOT appear to think so from his ACTIONS, or rather I would say his INACTION (he didn't buy any U.S. Banks so far).

Food for thought.

Sometimes, what we need is a little common sense. We don't need PHD to make money from investing. Just a LITTLE HUMILITY and Common Sense.
Cheers!
