You should know that Warren Buffett has used ideas from Philip Fisher which are detailed in "Common Stocks, Uncommon Profits". Philip Fisher's son, Ken Fisher, is the CEO of Fisher Investment and regularly writes articles for Forbes. He is equally, if not, more successful in investment as compared to his father. A billionaire himself, his investment ideas are contrarian in nature and hence, provides an alternative view from the mass.
