Hi Candy,

You're welcomed. Learnt from Dennis one!

But do take note that this is an estimate without taking into account inflation. So you can expect that you'd need more than that depending on inflation rates.

Here's another way to look at one's retirement nest egg required:
Eg. if you need say $5000 a month or $60,000 a year, and you are confident of getting at least 6% a year, then you would need a portfolio of $1 million to generate that every year.

this is why my aim is to help people achieve S$1 million. Personally, when I reached S$1 million in year 2008 was when I consider myself reaching Financial Freedom as well. :D
