Hi,
During a lunch wedding I attended over this weekend, I heard people on my table discussing about stocks and ipos. seems like more people are starting to enter the market?
Recently, been getting numerous agressive calls from headhunters/agents for various openings in the finance industry as well. Many banks are starting on a hiring spree this year once again, perhaps anticipating market demand picking up.

Seem like we are getting more & more closer to the "Be fearful while others are greedy" stage. Anyway, I'm still enjoying the last train ride but hope I can remember to alight at the correct time.XLTan wrote:Hi,

No worries, when the Overall Market Trend reverses, it will show up in the charts, so there is time to alight.
Cheers!

Hi Dennis,
Like to learn something from you here. When you say that "many still don't have much money invested into stocks.", is it your personal observation or you looking at some kind of market indicator to tell you that ?
Also you say that "when the Overall Market Trend reverses, it will show up in the charts". May I know what chart you referring to ?

it's just a personal observation. You can also do an informal "survey", just ask around your friends and colleagues to find out their views on the stock market, and where most of their money are invested.jamestai wrote:Hi Dennis,

And when you start getting "stock investing tips" from people who don't ever talk about stock investing, that's possibly the Time to get out of the market! haha.
When overall market trend reverses, well stock prices, including stock index of various countries will cut below the 200 Day Moving Average...
Cheers!

I also got the feeling that we have not reached the europhia level like in 2007. Many people still have fresh memories of the 2008-09 meltdown and are still scared to invest into stocks. Some of them have started to invest in stocks but they do it very cautiously unlike in 2007.. When we start hearing things that many people quit their day jobs to trade stocks, and when stock prices double in price in very short period of time.. that's when I will be very careful..
