Another common question we're asked is:"What's the difference between you talking to a Bank Mobile Banker and us (an independent Mortgage Consulting firm)?
1. a Bank Mobile Banker is employed by the bank.
The bank pays him/her a salary. He is a representative of the Bank and acts for the BEST interest of the Bank he/she works for. If clients' interest and that of the bank clashes, he/she would choose Bank's interest over your (client's) interest.
On the other hand, we're NOT employed by any bank. We do NOT have loyalty towards any bank. Our loyalty is towards you, our clients. And thus, we will always put your (client's) interest first.
2. A Bank Mobile Banker is RESTRICTED to only offering what his/her bank can offer you in terms of Housing Loan packages.
Even if he/she knows there is a BETTER Housing Loan pacakge out there, would he/she tells you so that you can go to his/her competitor instead?
The answer is likely to be NO.
On the other hand, we work with ALL Banks in Singapore. We have access to ALL Housing Loan packages available at any point in time. We can offer you ALL the choices you can ever find in terms of Housing Loan packages available in the market.
We will help you SAVE precious Time and Money as we help you ZOOM in to the BETTER Housing Loan packages that are most suited to your needs. If there's a BETTER package out there, we would definitely recommend it to you since no matter which Bank you choose, it makes NO difference to us.
3. Banks' telephone lines are only open from Mondays to Fridays, during OFFICE hours. If you send an email to a bank, it might take DAYS before anyone would ever reply to you.
Our TRAINED Mortgage Consultants' Mobile Phones are contactable 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays. We answer emails 7 days a week. Our email address is info@HousingLoanSG.com and ALL your emails are REPLIED by a TRAINED consultant, sometimes even by our 2 Directors who have combined 26 years of banking experience!
4. Banks have HIGH staff turnover. After you take up a loan, it is likely that your Bank's Mobile Banker might have left the bank. You need to talk to a new staff and probably need to explain everything ALL over again.
We have a very low staff turnover. In fact, last year our staff turnover is ZERO, ie. no one has left the organisation. We have in place a SYSTEM that even if a staff leaves or a staff is on leave, informtion given to us is properly documented and another staff can easily serve you without need to ask for your information again.
5. Imagine if you want to find out Housing Loan packages of 5 banks, (there're 10 banks altogether providing Housing Loans), you would need to speak to 5 different persons, wasting a lot of your precious time. Furthermore, in this example your PERSONAL financial information is disclosed to 5 persons and 5 financial insititutions. You only take up loan from 1 bank. However, a few weeks from now, you're likely to receive TELEMARKETING calls from the remaining 4 banks...
If you talk to us, you only need to "tell your story" once. You only need to speak to ONE SINGLE CONTACT POINT. When you finally choose the Bank package, your information is ONLY provided to 1 bank, not 5 banks. That GREATLY reduce the telemarketing calls you receive from banks.
On our end we have a CLIENT Confidentiality policy that we DO NOT reveal our clients' information to any other party without clients' consent.
By now I think it is clear to you that it makes more sense for you to talk to us instead of a Bank Mobile Banker. How do we know? We are Home owners too!
P.S. in fact, some of our Mortgage Consultants were our clients before they decide to join our team!
