I'm not sure where can we find the info. Anyone knows?

One possible hint is the SIBOR in Singapore, if it goes down typically means more funds flowing into Singapore. Another hint is S$ exchange rate, if it strengthens, also show more buying of S$ (becos of fund inflow).
Cheers!

Hi,

I speak to a fund manager yesterday and ask him how we can see the flow of money from QE2. He said that the fund house do have information about this but he can't email the information to me because it is consider a proprietary information to the fund house. He told me that one of the thing that we can try to search is the US FEB minutes on QE2. He told me that in the minutes it has mention the US FEB will spend the QE2 money by end of 2nd Quater of 2011. I have done a google search but could not find it or something close to it. Maybe if anyone here can find it please share it with us.

Hi JimmKKL,

Thanks for sharing. I show the link to the fund manager and this is his reply to me.

Hi James,

The link you found belongs to the Fed of NY state only. I believe this link below should be of interest to you.

http://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevent ... 01103a.htm.

It mention:

The Committee will maintain its existing policy of reinvesting principal payments from its securities holdings. In addition, the Committee intends to purchase a further $600 billion of longer-term Treasury securities by the end of the second quarter of 2011, a pace of about $75 billion per month.

Hi Jimmykkl,

Totally agreed with you. I believe through sharing of knowledge generously we are not getting less but gain even more.

I just notice there is an addition full stop "." at the end of the link in my previouse post. You might get a page not found error. This link should be ok

Going by the statement $75b/month and 600b by Q2 2011. It's 8 months of 75b and should have started in November 2010.

Hi All,

Interesting video on the relationship of QE2, Bond & Stock Market.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7Lr609zG58

After looking through both the video and JIMMYKKL's link on the Tentative Outright Treasury Operation Schedule, it seems that what the video say is correct. The Fed (at least the New York Fed) is buying much more mid to short term Bonds (<8yrs) than long term bonds (>8yrs), and if the video's "bond to stock market" correlation is true, it shows again that we're looking at a bull stock market, at least for the 1st half of 2011.

Isn't that interesting?
Cheers!!!

China again hikes interest rate in inflation fight

http://money.cnn.com/2010/12/26/news/in ... /index.htm

G Richard RaabDec 26
Keep in mind that QE2 is designed to force China over the top. China has been cheating by disobeying all of the treaties that they have with the west.
Right now, QE2 is forcing China's costs upwards. SO, now, to stop this, China must quit printing yuans and must adjust their interest rates up. It is a certainty that China's president is coming to talk to Obama to see about a way out of this without untying the Yuan from the dollar. However, the only way to solve both nation's issues is to untie it and then allow both nations to suffer. And they will. China's economy will plummet. Likewise, America's goods will rise sharply. But that will finally encourage companies to bring back jobs.
