Ha Ha all my friend and family know that I am very long winded so they all scare of me when I start "counselling" them. So think twice when you want to quit, we will be watching you ! Why your Sifu like that ah ? If they put you down again, let me go "counsel" them ;).

I know one thing is for sure. The learning with you is a lifelong journey and not just some classes you pay to attend and forget subsequently.

When it comes to money and finance, you are the only genuine teacher that I know and I'm extremely grateful for that.

师父加油!!
Hi DavidisFinancialyFree,
thanks.

Yes, I remember your "you will never walk alone"...

This is my promise to all Seminar Graduates as well, you will never walk alone, I (and other fellow seminar graduates) will walk with you on your Journey to Financial Freedom and investment mastery.
Cheers!

Glad you have rebounced!

Hi Dennis
I'm one of those passive readers and not an active contributor. Like the posts before, I just want to say a big Thank You! to you (and your family too), for really being sincere and true to your mission. I have attended a few other workshops, and I do not see the sincerity and the selfless spirit I see in you.

I guess we have been taking you for granted, and this is a good wake-up call for all of us - that we need to let you know that we really appreciate the sacrifices you have been making, especially your time with your family members.

And I am glad that you will be walking with us again :D

DUN GIVE UP, EVERYONE CANT AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT, THAT'S LIFE

Post by dolphin0655 »

DENNIS

I would like to share with you the truth that successful people will face more setbacks than normal people, that really train them to persevere (never give up) till they get their goals and dreams, that is defined as SUCCESSFUL (can be anything they define their goals and dreams).

I have witnessed afew times that the responses to attend your stock previews & seminars are always very good, the classes are mostly full . Must be due to the poor negative and fear feelings they have for the recent market crash, that's why afew signed up this time.

The disappointment in responses to sign up for any seminar is very common for all the famous trainers or mentors, eg Adam Khoo also shared his disappointment with us before - initially only just 1 guy signed up for his NLP program out of 20+ preview attendees, he was equally and greatly hurt as you but he changed strategy instead of giving up, getting his staff to call & get all kinds of feedbck & reasons from those attended his free preview but not his paid seminars. From there, he and Stuart keep improving on the valuable feedback given, then now they are sooo successful in getting more and more people to sign up...

Those friends I brought to your preview did not sign up becos of their negative mindset 'must pay high cost', a stranger lady who has asked me to share my personal experience after she knew I was your graduate before, has signed up recently instead ! She is Irene Ong...
LIFE ALWAYS FULL OF UNEXPECTATION !!

I am sure now you know that you have sooooo many supporters behind your back, even though most of us are not active in contributing in this forum but we follow loyally and very addictive to this forum. When I am very busy and missed a few days not logging in, my whole body and mind will not be at ease, something seriously missing !! I even often 'fight' with my daughters to use the computer becos of this educational and informative forum, hahaha....

Hi dolphin0655,

thanks alot. No worries, as mentioned, I already full "re-charged" after all these words by all of you.

I also hope that this "incident" also serves to motivate and encourage everyone out there, that even Dennis can feel down sometimes. What's important is that all of us need support and encouragement sometimes, and so whenever I see others feeling down in future, I would know what to do...since I have benefitted from all of you "lending me a hand" and "words of encouragement".

Importantly, is how we pull ourselves up (sometimes with the help of others pulling us up). As Winston Churchill said:"Never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER GIVE UP."

Cheers!

SETBACK & FAILURES ARE GD TRAING 4 STRENGTH & PERSER

Post by dolphin0655 »

Dennis

You are considered more successful than most of us so do expect more disapptmts & setbacks in future to keep you stronger to move on, nearer to your great noble goal....very little people can set that kind of noble and fantastic goal - HELPING OTHERS ...
We only able to learn and improve further whenever we face setbacks and disappointments not when we are enjoying life. Even GOD Jesus also suffered for loving & helping human beings, being betrayed and harmed by some negative disciples and got nailed on the cross....That's LIFE

Aiya Dennis,
You already say before, once you like to be a teacher, but later you found out that, it not easy to be a teacher. It alway not easy to teach, or to pass the your knowledge or experience to your student. So it depend how you make your teaching more interesting, as your students can be from engineer, clerk, cleaner....., so how, but you did say that you would like to make your teaching, even your son will understand it. Dont give up, I really enjoy your class, I will help you to bring more people to attend your class, and you have to get more of your gradute to assist you, and guide the new student, so that they can understand it faster. That what I can share with you. Cheer.. 8)

Tonight, suddenly I felt this way too, maybe I should just stop doing all these teaching and just keep my family company, why stayed up late to answer questions, why sacrifice most of my precious weekends and precious Family Time to teach?

As you might know, I don't work for money and already have enough to retire. Earning another million more or not does NOT motivate me.

Perhaps I really should just stop teaching since so few want to learn. (Tonight out of 51 attending workshop, only 5 decided to learn)...the rest would just go on with their lives, without learning how to invest and investing blindly.

Majority choose NOT to learn from me, so why should I bother to continue sharing or teaching?

Hi Jeffreyteo,
thank you for your suggestion.

In 2 years' time, I plan to train up a few of my Seminar Graduates to teach some of these seminars I'm teaching, so that we can reach out to more people.
Cheers!

Why pple dont want to sign up ... I can answer why pple sign up. Only when one r badly hit.... for myself it is the pain n embrassement of no money in my bank..taking money fr my children for the past months.

'dont be greedy but live with our mean' is what I hold on. Then why go for classes... to see how to earn back all my losses that i buy fr Financial Advisor in unit trusts and hedge fund. Financial Advisor tell me it is for long term ...for long term...I really not sure so want to learn my self.

Dont be discourage... u had did what u can...the rest is beyond our control. Like the Japan Nuclear, human did their best in mangeing the rest is not human to control ...

Hi mui2,
thanks for your words of encouragement, truly appreciated.

In the last few months, despite Libya War, despite Japan Disaster, any Seminar Graduate who invested into Silver in Jan at about US$30, with silver prices at US$39 on 7 Apr 2011, or up 30%....imagine investing S$10,000 would have made S$3,000, MORE than the seminar fees you paid to me for ALL of my seminars.

The best thing is my teaching does NOT end at the Seminars. I continue to guide and teach after the seminars, in this forum, on a daily basis, and each day I spend average 2 to 3 hours in this forum, sharing my latest insights and comments, answering questions. I'm NOT sure if there is any other Seminar Speaker is as active in sharing as I.

Financial Planners and Fund Managers say "invest is for Long Term". If you were Japanese and invested into Japan stock market in 1989, Nikkei index was then 38,000 points.

Today, after waiting 22 years, Nikkei index is about 9,600 points, despite waiting 22 years, you lost 75%!!! Stop listening to Crap by Financial Planners and Fund Managers, it only makes them Richer, NOT you, the Investor.

P.S. of course there are Good and Competent Financial Planners out there, I'm referring those who are NOT competent and have little knowledge other than "looking intelligent and presentable" and knowing how to push sales.
Cheers!
