What is Wealth? Concept of Wealth "de-mystified"

Post by Dennis Ng »

What is wealth?
one definition has it that it's defined as the number of days you can survive forward without working (active income).

What's our greatest wealth?
Is it our house, our car, our stock portfolio, our unit trust? If you think about it...it's the "stuff between our ears" and the time we have.

It doesn't take Money to Make MOney
Many people say it takes money to make money. In fact, it doesn't take money to make money at all. There're so many real life examples out there, just ask Bill Gates, Sim Wong Hoo etc, etc and they will share with you this too.

Wealth is not a thing, wealth is a concept.
It's not physical, it can't be seen, but it's everywhere if you're able to "see" it.

It's a World of Abundance
It's a world of abundance and everyone can be better off financially. It's not a Win/Lose world, but our minds are conditioned since young that for us to win, somebody has to lose. Eg. there can only be 1 student in the class that is placed first in exams. Even Sports events too, there's only one gold medal, 2nd is close, but not "it". And even when we started working, for someone to get promoted, another person will not get promoted.

Money is the root of all evil?
It's time we think Win/Win, it's time we share and learn and prosper together. Money is the root of all.....good. Some say money is the root of all evil. But if we think about it, it's not money is evil or good, it's our "perception and thinking" that make it so.

The more you give, the more you get.
Give and you shall receive. This apply to anything, including ideas, and MONEY. People who hoard ideas/money etc, etc, who are not willing to give will have very little. When we give, we will receive. Note: I'm not a Christian and not trying to "preach". This message is definitely not religious, but just simply sharing my thoughts.

Cheers!

Let's think Win/Win, not Win/Lose
