hi Ax,

I have the same question after I started to explore myself in seeking ways to reach financial freedom. With options like investment and starting a business available, I struggled in financial allocations too.

To me, I think it is important for your life partner to know the financial planning you target in both short and long term. Planning of a wedding is time consuming and often costly, if there's some common understanding between you of you in your financial allocation, then you can explore the possibilities within your means.

That was the reason I attended Dennis seminar together with my bf (still bf at that time, hehe), from then, with baby steps we took, we managed to invest in landbanking and buy in silver recently despite there are still a lot of things in planning, eg. custom wedding, buying a unit as our own home, exploring business possibilities, diversify our financial portfolio in stocks and property n etc. Even if current situation is not allow for us to do certain decision in investment, we can use the time now to do research, understanding the market trend, and there are so much more we can do for self-development, too. Learning should continues, so when opportunities strike we are prepaid to seize it. Just a little bit of sharing from me.

I believe you by now you may have worked out something. Just keep moving, eventually we will get to our goal! Cheers~

Hi Whye..

Thanks for your reply..

I guess the road to success is always not easy.... Right now, I'm 28. still got a long way to go... sometimes I wonder if I myself will be successful one day...

Just to share... i've been reading success literature for quite a while.... countless of them.... until i lost count... quite number of them i have read recently seem to have one thing in common.. like what dennis say...

Conceive... Believe.. Achieve or C.B.A.

I am an engineer by training... so I dont really believe things that somehow do not have scientific proof. In my short 28 years of living so far, I have learnt quite a few things. In life, its not how smart you are that matters ... really.... your IQ definitely do not determine how much money you make.. what house you are living in.... what friends you have... whether you are happy or not. sometimes i wonder why are some of my classmates making tons of money now... but i'm still earning so little money....

J Martin Kohe's Your Greatest Power says.. its all about a thing called choice. I think he is absolutely right. If you want to be happy, just choose to be happy.

Your mind is the greatest asset you have.. everyone has a great mind. nobody can take that away from you... nobody.. the best thing you can do is to enrich your mind power... make it strong so that you can last through the long journey...

for the past year.. i have not made much progress though. lost 1-2k after the recent market crash... but I am not giving up. because sometimes I wonder.. why can other people be successful and I can't?

I have really benefited from Dennis and other graduates sharing.. I haven been posting much recently though... I think that's something that you dont pay to get really...

There' s a book that I would like to share.. "The Master Key System" by Charles F. Haanel. just google it and get it as a free download. It talks about something similar to the secret. but i think its much much better. It talks about action which the secret kind of left out.

Last but not the least... I got to know about Dennis through Alvin, who is my JC classmate. I really thank him for introducing Dennis to me. :)

and yes.. we will get there someday... you will when you believe...
