I'm not sure as I didn't really check. Frankly, I'm not investing into CITIGROUP or BOA for its dividends. So whether there is tax or not on the dividends, it is a very small amount that does NOT affect my investment decision.

yes, for US stocks, there's a 30% tax on the dividend. When,UOB Kay hian send me the dividend check along with a slip showing the 30% tax charge on the dividend, inclusive the GST, processing fee.
