High Inflation coupled with Stagnant economy, or Stagflation is a possible risk. This is something that I've repeatedly said in my seminars since May 2009.

Yesterday when interviewed by Channel 8 News, I made this warning, but this part of my interview was "edited out", guess it can be too alarming for the general public....
Cheers!

Hi Dennis,

The only thing that I'm worried about is a 2nd Great Depression. The 1st Great Depression in 1930s which started in USA and eventually spread to world wide. The Great Depression lasted for more than a decade and the stock market came back to the 1930s peak only in 1954. To those who have suffered tremendous loses only able to recovered their loses more than 20 years later.

You can inmagine the consequences and major effect of the Great Depression. Millions have lost their job, prices hike and many lives have been taken to compensate the consequenes.

Worry and Fear are useless and pointless.

The thing we as individuals can do is How to Position and Prepare ourselves for the possibility of different scenarios? Stagflation? Depression? Continued Growth after recent Correction?

P.S. in fact, how to position and prepare are the things I teach in my Seminar. I think currently, I'm the only person who shares this in seminars, as most of the other Seminar Speakers and Trainers are involved in "specific investment" Seminar eg. Stocks, Options, Forex, Property.

Will your investment portfolio be "ok" in these different scenarios?

For instance, if a person mainly invest in stocks, this person would do very, very badly in Stagflation and Depression. Similarly, if a person does not have any stocks, then this person will do badly if there is Continued Growth after recent correction.

I have about 8% of my money in Gold and Silver and in the event of a Hyper Inflation, this would act as "Insurance" since prices of Gold and Silver would shoot up then.....possibly Gold at over US$2,000 or higher....Silver at over US$50 or higher...compared to current prices of about US$1,200 and US$18 respectively.

My investment portfolio is likely too be quite alright no matter what happens, since that is how I plan and strategise.
Cheers!

Peter Schiff has been sending out repeated warnings, just that few people really listen to him.

When CNBC put him up, most of the other "analyts" disagree with him, however, I think much of what he says actually make logical sense.

Peter Schiff was one of the few that warned about a possible Global Financial Crisis in year 2007...this is one of the inteviews he gave in year 2007:

Below are latest interviews he gave in May 2010:
