Share buy back

Dear Dennis,

What is the reason behind of share buy back? To my understanding, there are many reasons for share buy back

1. The company think the stock at this particular price is cheap
2. The company is trying to support the share price
3. To improve the financial ratio like PE ratio

Will sharebuy back is another reason for the company to delist the stock?

just heard from CNBC yesterday.

some guru sayining cost of bond is cheaper cost of equity

may be that's one reason.
