The landbanking in Canada was recommended to me by one of my friends who are the agent. I was told that I would be able to get back my capital in 3-4 years time, meaning 100% return which is too good to believe.

Hyflux offers 6% cumulative preference shares

Hyflux is offering S$200m 6% non convertible, non-voting, cumulative preference share, with a step-up dividend rate of 8%.
Is it compulsory for Hyflux to pay dividend each year as well as 6% interest?
Can anyone advise whether it is worthwhile investing?

Dear Dennis,
May I know for your 25% of your Wealth in Cash(Opportunity Fund), how do you keep it? in the form of just savings accounts in the bank or short term fixed deposit which practically no interst at all?
