Re: Investing using your CPF

Hi Wirado, For your example, $15K is already 35% of your investible fund for stock so you can use up to $15K for Stock. $5K is 10% of your investible fund for Gold so you can use up to $5K for Gold. Professional Managed Product is the OA - $20K, ie, the total amount you can use for Investment where ...

Re: What happen to the last rally of stock market this time

Still remember about this time one year ago (Aug – Sep 2011), we were discussing about what happen to the last rally and were busy closing positions as the highly anticipated QE3 was not launched and stock market trend has reversed sharply. A year later, QE3 is finally here with no end date, making ...

Re: Investing using your CPF

Hi Wirado, Let me try with my best knowledge on CPF (OA): 1. In excess of $20K and up to 35% of the investible fund. You can see the stock investible amount when you log into http://www.cpf.gov.sg with your Singpass and look at MY STATEMENT Section C Investment > STOCKS. If you buy with insufficient...

Re: Forex Trading

Hi Candy, I'm afraid I'm not an expert in Forex and only put very little CFD amount on this, which is why I said is just pocket money for grocery shopping. So far, I have shorted USD and long AUD before based on economy and major trend, and would like to find out what other pairs are worth monitorin...

Re: Forex Trading

Hi Lynnboh, Thanks for sharing an interesting pair on commodity currency. You may be right. To me, I’m not sure if commodity is still an “insurance”. With so much of paper money, everything seems to go up/down together, be it stocks, oil, gold, silver, diversification doesn’t help. Personally I don’...

Re: Forex Trading

Hi archonmage, Fully agreed that forex can be a form of passive income. To me, it is an additional stream of income for grocery shopping :D Looking forward to hear about your big plan, if possible, do share your thoughts early, don't need to wait until "when the time comes". Hi, Jimmy Lu. ...

Re: How to get S$1,400 Free Money from Credit Card per year?

I have signed up these cards about a month ago when I was approached by a young man on his first day of internship so I supported him. The application process was unbelievably efficient - just access to CPF or Income Tax online and they will print out the statement (delete browsing history with your...

Re: Dolphin Capital Asia - Investing in German Properties

Do you see steady economic growth plan and stable political position in a country will help you to decide if you want to invest into the properties. The thought of Euro may break out will make you re-consider if you want to invest in countries using euro currency. If it happens, there will be a sudd...

Just for sharing purpose ... my forecasted ROI (based on current bonus rates declared by the insurance company) is 74% or 9% annual rate of return over average term of 8.23 years. We are aware that actual maturity value may not be the same as the forecast is based on current bonus rate declared by t...

Hi Ray, Wow, you are asking me something happened half a year ago ... Let me try to recall, i think I estimated the downside based on 90% capital protection and upsides based on return projection when 2 of my policies are matured. My return projection% are quite high with longer investment period. Y...

Like! I posted on our PM's facebook page this message: the diversity in Singapore is our Core strength, not weakness. The important thing is regardless of differences, we need to stand together and move forward as a nation, to do what is in the best interests of the Nation, which might not be in the...
